This Rear Disc Brake Conversion Kit will upgrade your Mustang's overall stopping power. These brakes have a built-in parking brake function within calipers and have flex hoses are provided to tie into your existing cable system to allow this conversion to be compatible with most aftermarket rear ends. Purchasing this kit will also provide your with all of the brackets & spacers, as well as all of the other correct mounting hardware to successfully convert your classic Mustang's rear brake assembly.
This rear brake kit will not just improve your vintage Mustang's performance, but will also add a nice stylish touch as well. You'll be able to customize your kit by choosing whether you want your 11.25" brake rotors to be plain or slotted & drilled. You will also be able to choose the overall finish of your loaded single piston calipers which are available in a red or black powder coating, as well as a cast aluminum finish.
*This kit is designed for Mustangs with have a 8" or 9" small bearing rear axle ONLY.
*Rear brakes will not work with 15" steel wheels. For those wanting 15" wheels we recommend using 15" Moray alloy wheels.
Additional Notes:
- This rear disc brake conversion kit will NOT fit Mustangs that are equipped with staggered shocks.
- Maximum Axle Flange diameter of 6.25” to fit rotor hat.
Installation Note: If the rear emergency brake cables are too short when installing, the best solution is to either extend the equalizer rod or purchase cut to fit cables BHS72.
