Quick Operation Guide
Warm Up: Start the engine and let it run for about 15 minutes until it reaches normal operating temperature, then turn it off.
Connect Power: Attach the timing light’s power clips to the battery (red to positive, black to negative).
Attach Inductive Clamp: Fully close the inductive clamp and attach it to the high-voltage line of the first cylinder (near the spark plug end).
Align Mark: Restart the engine and maintain a steady idle. Aim the timing light at the engine’s timing mark area.
Read Data: Trigger the timing light and observe the timing mark reading under the strobe. Compare with the manufacturer’s specifications.
