What is a cooling fan?
The cooling fan is an important part of the vehicle cooling system. The performance of the fan directly affects the heat dissipation effect of the engine, which in turn affects the performance of the engine.
How to remove the cooling fan
- Open the hood of the car, remove the air intake pipe above the cooling fan, and remove the cooling fan.
- The cooling fan and the air conditioning fan are located on the top of the fan frame. There are four corners in total, and each corner has a screw.
- Use professional tools to unscrew the four screws.
- When all the screws are unscrewed, the cooling fan can be removed from the car.
How to install the cooling fan
- Prepare the cooling fan and align the four holes of the fan with the four fixing holes of the cooling fan on the motherboard.
- Then press the cooling fan foot and pull it out to see if you can pull it out easily. If it's not stuck, check again.
- Notice: Do not press when the mounting holes are misaligned, as this will pinch the base of the thermal fan.
- After the cooling fan feet are fully inserted into the fixing holes of the main board, press down the four pins on the fan.
- Note: Press the clips diagonally.
- After pressing down the fixing clip of the cooling fan, check whether the four feet of the fan are fully connected to the motherboard, and finally connect the power supply of the cooling fan.
- Note: There are several fan power connectors on the motherboard, which should be connected to the one marked on the fan connector: CFNA or CPU_FAN.
