Most of the time, its just the plastic connector that melts to your blown clock spring, and your existing wires can be used. We tell our customers to take apart our connectors and pull out new wires, then insert your wires into our new connector and click and lock into your new clock spring. This will give you a clean install that you wont be able to tell that it was repaired. If your wires are broken, then you will have to use our wires provided. At that point you can either solder or crimp. We sell crimp/heatshrink connectors on our website.
