You can find many guides and videos on the internet of how to change
these but it just looks easy but it is not. The parts are very fragile and
delicate so I strongly advise the change to be done by a professional.
First you want to mark the small tab on the side. Then use some silicone spray to lube it up. If you don't have silicone spray then wd-40 or some kind of oil that is safe for rubber. Pull the old diaphragm out and make sure no pieces are left behind. Line the new diaphragm up with mark. Make sure you have the correct side facing up. I have a butter knife that I sanded all sharp edges off. You can also use a hard piece of plastic like a credit card. Make sure the knife edge is above the lip of the rubber so you don't poke a hole in the rubber. When you push the knife in it should be rolling the rubber edge in. Be very careful not to push on the rubber below the o-ring lip because that could cut the rubber. Work it around on opposite sides like 12 o'clock the 6 o'clock then 9 and 3 and so on. This cross pattern is very important so the rubber is going in evenly. After you get the o-ring lip in so you don't see anyone sticking out you take some strong fishing line and push the rest home.
