This iDatalink ADS-ALCA data bypass module communicates operating commands from a compatible remote start/security system controller to your vehicle's onboard computer system to enable direct control over your vehicle's functionality.
When immobilizers were introduced, aftermarket remote starters had to be installed alongside one of your expensive vehicle keys, or the factory security features had to be disabled entirely. Then came the bypass module to bring back the magic of keyless entry and remote start.
DATA BYPASS MODULE: Communicates operating commands from a compatible controller to a vehicle's onboard computer system for seamless communication, without having to modify sensitive components. Compatible with select remote start/security system controllers. With a hardwire connection option that allows functionality with most controller brands for wide-ranging use.
