Lamy Super 8 Automatic White - Projector. Proiettore-visore a ciclo continuo

The Super 8 Automatic was a mains-powered film projector system that was designed to look like a small television set. It was produced by the Italian company Lamy during the 1970s, possibly being introduced in 1973.
The film cartridges contained an endless-loop of colour Super 8 film, and the projector contained a built-in screen to view them, or it could be switched to project onto another surface from the side of the machine. Being endless-loop meant there was no need to rewind after viewing, and the cartridge meant that there was no need to thread the film into the machine.
The Mupi Cinevisor, IGC Telemax, and Gioca Videomatic were similar Italian-made motion-picture cartridge formats that were aimed at children, but the Lamy Super 8 Automatic seems to be much rarer than the others. It is possible that being mains-powered, the Lamy system was aimed at adults as well as children and the existence of empty cartridges suggests it might have been possible to have home movies loaded into them to playback on the system.
Tested with an empty cartridge, the screen lights up and appears to work but I’m unable to fully test it.
Has plug for UK electric socket.
