Please note we do not grade jewel cases unless they are custom to the release. They are generic and can be replace for a minimal price if you wish.
We use the following grading system for compact discs:
Mint - Prefect condition. Will only ever be used if the item is still sealed or personally owned from new and unused.
NM (Near Mint) - A nearly perfect disc. A NM or M- disc has more than likely never been played, the disc will be clean and free from any blemished. Inserts and artwork will free from creases or damage.
EX (Excellent) - Disc may show very light marks but will play perfectly. Inserts and artwork will free from creases or damage.
VG+ (Very Good Plus) - A Very Good Plus disc may show some signs that it was played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took good care of it. Defects should be more of a cosmetic nature, not affecting the actual playback as a whole. Inserts and artwork will all be present, but may show signs of wear, such as minor creasing but will not be torn or significantly damaged.
VG (Very Good) - Disc will show some scuffing and signs of use, but with play through with at worst a little degradation to the sound quality. Inserts and artwork may be creased or have small tears, but will be present.
G (Good) - Disc will show significant signs of wear and tear. Will play through without skipping, but there may be audible surface noise. Artwork and inserts may be missing or damaged. CDs in this condition will only be listed if they are highly sought after...
The grading of items is a very subjective field and the grading we give is our impression only. We will try to highlight specific problems either in the pictures used or the item description, so please study the images provided and feel free to ask for more detail. All discs are play tested before listing.
