PreSonus StudioLive Series III SE 32R 32-Channel Digital Rack Mixer
1500000479620
When productions require expanded input count, deeper routing and full-console processing in a rack format, the StudioLive Series III SE 32R delivers large-format capability in a streamlined 2U chassis. This 32-channel digital rack mixer is built around 32 fully recallable XMAX-R mic preamps and a 40-channel processing engine with 26 mix buses, 16 FlexMixes, four subgroups, four FX mixes and 24 DCAs. Powered by the PreSonus FLEX DSP Engine with 32-bit floating-point processing and system latency as low as 1.9 ms, every input and bus benefits from comprehensive Fat Channel EQ and dynamics. Designed for high channel-count live sound, broadcast production, touring systems and installed applications, the SE 32R provides the control depth of a console with the efficiency of a rackmount mixer.
32 Recallable XMAX-R Preamps With Full Fat Channel Processing
Thirty-two XMAX-R mic preamps deliver up to 60dB of clean gain with consistent headroom, supporting full drum kits, multi-mic ensembles, orchestral inputs and complex stage productions. Every input and bus includes nine State Space modeled EQ options and ten vintage-style compressor models, enabling detailed tone shaping and dynamics control without external processing. With full recall across all parameters, engineers can move between sessions, services or tour dates with repeatable precision.
Advanced Bus Architecture With 16 FlexMixes and 24 DCAs
The StudioLive Series III SE 32R provides 26 mix buses, including 16 configurable FlexMixes that can function as AUX mixes, subgroups or matrix outputs. Four dedicated subgroups and four FX mixes with stereo returns expand routing possibilities for monitors, broadcast feeds, streaming mixes and distributed audio zones. Twenty-four DCAs allow efficient control of large channel counts, supporting fast mix adjustments in high-pressure production environments.
64x64 USB Interface and Integrated SD Recording
Serving as both a live sound mixer and a high-capacity USB audio interface, the SE 32R offers 64x64 USB 2.0 recording and playback for full multitrack capture. Onboard stereo SD recording supports direct 24-bit WAV capture at 44.1kHz or 48kHz without additional hardware. Integration with PreSonus Capture enables Virtual Soundcheck, allowing engineers to rehearse and refine mixes using previously recorded tracks. Per-channel source selection between analog, USB, SD and AVB supports hybrid workflows in studio recording and broadcast environments.
Milan-Certified AVB Networking and System Expansion
Milan-certified AVB networking enables seamless integration with StudioLive Series III consoles, NSB stageboxes and EarMix 16M personal monitor systems. Dual AVB ports support reliable network distribution, while optional AVB-D16 compatibility adds Dante connectivity when required. The SE 32R can operate as a standalone mixer, remote stagebox or dedicated monitor rack within larger AVB-based systems. Universal Control provides complete wireless operation with Offline Editor support, and QMix-UC allows performers to manage personal monitor mixes from mobile devices.
2U Rack Design for Touring and Installation
Housed in a rugged 19", 2U chassis and weighing 11.2 lb., the SE 32R is engineered for touring racks, broadcast trucks and permanent installations. Balanced XLR/TRS connectivity, comprehensive routing options and integrated recording tools make it a scalable solution for modern production workflows. For engineers who need high channel density, flexible bus architecture and full studio-grade processing in a compact rackmount format, the PreSonus StudioLive Series III SE 32R delivers console-level control without excess footprint.
