This device is used, but still works fine. As shown in the image, it comes with the ion chamber. To avoid spurious cable noise, MDH designed this with a current-to-frequency converter right at the ion chamber. It also has autoranging and PULSE DURATION and PULSE EXPOSURE modes to measure exposure time and the radiation produced in that interval. The autorange feature allows for exposure rates of mR/minute to R/minute with LED indicators that show the transition. It is battery powered and built into a rugged case for portability. EXPOSURE-RATE mode with the 6CC ion chamber allows for exposure-rate per minute. When in EXPOSURE mode, this meter will accumulate exposure readings unless reset. No barometric adjustments are required. This device is great for finding timer accuracy as well as phototimed reproducibility. With an aluminum attenuator kit, it is easy to determine the Half-Value-Layer for beam quality.
