Amidst all this Lamborghini unveiled its successor the Diablo in 1990. It seemed like a conservative generational change that followed the basic layout but this transition went smoothly leading to the prosperity of the subsequent Murciélago and making the revival of the long-lost Baby Lambo possible so it should be called a great success after all. The name Diablo as usual is derived from bullfighting but to put it extremely it means devil. It's unlikely that they sold their souls to the devil at a crossroads to achieve success but since the Diablo modern Lamborghini has become a solitary entity with a devilish level of innovation and presence.
