1936 Chevrolet Low Cab Truck - 1.5 Ton Dually with 9'
Stake Body
This 1936 Chevrolet Low Cab Truck is a beautifully preserved
and thoughtfully restored pre-war Chevrolet dually that combines originality,
character, and strong mechanical condition. Equipped with its original 207ci Stove bolt inline 6-cylinder engine rated at 79 horsepower, 4-speed manual
transmission, and original 1.5-ton dual-wheel chassis, this truck remains true
to its heritage while benefiting from extensive restoration and maintenance
work.
Originally a Southwestern Pennsylvania farm truck, it
remained in service until 1969 and was then stored in a garage until 2021.
Showing approximately 55,000 original miles, it still retains its original
paint and pinstriping on the cab and body, along with its original interior
paint and gauges. The result is an exceptionally authentic truck with
remarkable presence and originality.
Over the course of a five-year project, this truck was
carefully restored to its current excellent condition. Purchased as a project
to complete with my father, it has now reached the point where everything is
finished and functioning as it should. It is being offered for sale only
because he is no longer able to drive it.
