1994 Chevrolet Blazer 4x4 Silverado Factory 5-Speed • 5.7L V8 • Tailgate Model • Black / Dark Red Interior
Up for sale is a increasingly hard-to-find 1994 Chevy Blazer 1/2 ton 4x4, built at the Janesville, Wisconsin plant on April 20, 1994. This truck is a rare combination of factory options that checks a lot of boxes for GM truck enthusiasts and OBS collectors alike.
Factory equipped with the legendary 5.7L L05 V8 paired to the desirable Getrag 5-speed manual transmission and 3.73 gears. Most surviving full-size Blazers were automatics, making the factory V8/manual setup considerably less common today. It also has the off-road skid plate package, heavy-duty front springs, aluminum 16x7 wheels, power windows and locks, cruise control, tilt column, rear defogger, deep tint glass, and factory air conditioning.
Finished in factory black exterior paint over an excellent dark red cloth interior with the sought-after split front bench seat. Interior condition is exceptionally clean for a 32-year-old truck and still has that unmistakable early-90s GM cockpit feel. The truck also has the preferred tailgate rear end rather than the later barn door setup, which many enthusiasts specifically look for.
Other notable factory options include:
Factory 4x4
Sport simulated leather steering wheel
Power rear tailgate release
Folding rear seat
Front and rear floor mats
Chrome grille
Front bumper guards
Factory cassette stereo
Wheel opening moldings
Convenience and decor packages
The truck does need mechanical attention and is being sold as a project/restoration candidate.
💥Known issues:
Ignition problem (Key stuck in 'On Position'
Needs replacement gas tank (Having ongoing issue with chugging. Fuel filter has to be replaced quite often. New fuel pump installed in 2025)
Transmission needs work:
Clutch will likely need to be replaced.
Does not like going into reverse
Rarely goes into 5th gear
Difficult to pull back out of 5th once engaged
That said, these square-body era GMT400 full-size Blazers continue getting harder to find, especially unmodified examples with factory V8/manual drivetrains, clean interiors, and the classic tailgate configuration. This would make an excellent restoration project, period-correct cruiser, hunting rig, or OBS collector truck.
I drive it often, runs like a raped ape when she's happy.
Sold as-is.
